Tabla Retreat in the beautiful Onsen coast, 2 hours outside Tokyo
oin us for a weekend of tabla and natural hot springs in this beautiful sea side, mountain haven of Japan. We will not only learn tabla for several hours each day during this amazing weekend, but we will also discuss the deeper elements of our lives and what motivates us to pursue music. We will explore important life topics such as meditation, practice and self perception.
海と山に囲まれた日本屈指の温泉地でタブラと天然温泉に浸る週末を過ごしませんか。毎日のタブラレッスンに加え生きる事のより深い意味や、音楽を求め続ける根源について語り瞑想や習慣、自己認識といった人生の重要なトピックについても探求を深めます。
We will spend the weekend in a very famous old Ryokan (hotel / onsen) which has been in continuos use for well over 150 year and sought after as a place of healing for centuries before that. Yoga and body balancing classes will also be offered to all participants. We will have an amazing and enlivening time together!
数世紀に渡り人々を癒し、金谷旅館として誕生後130余年もの長い時を経て今なお人々に愛され続ける由緒ある温泉旅館がこのたびの会場となります。簡単なヨガや身体のバランスを整えるエクササイズなども盛り込みながら、活力に満ちた実りある時をご一緒できれば幸いです！
Participants should have some playing experience and have their own tabla set to bring to the weekend.
このたびのリトリートは上記３連休にタブラの持参が可能な演奏経験者が対象です。
