Ambika Leigh has been a creator and performer all her life. She believes that with the right intention, art can be a tool for self-discovery and healing as much as it is for entertainment. A lover of all things imaginative, bold and meaningful, Ambika wishes to create art and entertainment that inspires people to understand more fully who they are and, ultimately, to take action in the world based on this knowing. Besides a life-long passion for theater, music and dance, in 2006 Ambika ventured into film and TV, both in-front-of and behind-the-camera. She moved to Los Angeles in early 2007 and besides working as a commercial actor has also worked as a producer (most recently for Michael Beckwith's PBSSpecial The Answer Is You), development executive (with producer Mark Harris of "Crash") and freelance video editor. Most recently she began a program at the Los Angeles Film School to laser focus on her dream of writing and directing. She is grateful to be well on her way to fulfilling all of her dreams!  http://vimeo.com/user2832324/videos and  http://lacasting.com/ambika
