Richard Freeman has been a student of yoga since 1968. He has spent nearly nine years in Asia studying various traditions which he incorporates into the Ashtanga yoga practice taught by his principal teacher, K. Pattabhi Jois of Mysore, India. His background includes Zen and Vipassana Buddhist practice, Bhakti and traditional Hatha Yoga in India, Sufism in Iran and, starting in 1974, an in-depth study of Iyengar Yoga. He is still an avid student of both Western and Eastern philosophy, as well as Sanskrit. His ability to juxtapose various viewpoints, without losing the depth and integrity of each, has helped Richard develop a unique, metaphorical teaching style. He lives with his family in Boulder, Colorado where he is the director of the Yoga Workshop. www.theyogaworkshop.com

Dominique Pandolfi's awareness of yoga began as a young girl being witness to her mom’s daily meditation and asana practice. Dominique’s passion for teaching and deep love for the movement arts has lead her on a powerful journey experiencing many modalities and self-study. In 2000, she began a comprehensive study of the ancient art and science of yoga with Eddie Modestini and Nicki Doane. In 2004, she became a teacher at their yoga studio on Maui, Maya Yoga. Dominique has traveled with them as assistant at workshops, and has recently been included as an instructor on staff for their teacher trainings. Other inspirations for her teaching and self-practice are the writing and teachings of Sri T. Krishnamacharya, B.K.S Iyengar, and Mark Whitwell. She continues to be awed and humbled by the offerings of this beautiful practice as well as the simple awareness of breath, and how it has the potential to drop you right into the realization and recognition of source. www.yogawithdominique.com
